How to Create Invitation Label Name for Invitation Card

Well right now, i want to post something outside the IT stuff, but also educated! Yeah, it's about creating invitation label name for invitation cards.

Have you ever invited to the party with many people in there? Such as wedding party, graduation party, or home-coming party? In those big events, the host of the party usually create invitation cards to people who will be invited. Well if the invited people is around 50 people, yeah we can still type the name in the invitation cards manually, but if hundred? moreover thousand? We need something that make our work easier.

So i search the google and found this, how to create invitation label name for invitation card, in this event is wedding party, with more flexible.



These are step to do it.
 - Look at your invitation label name paper, look how much label in one paper. In this example, there are 12  with 3x4

- Next open your Ms.Word, then measure the paper size. Also create table 3x4 with size as the label name size. For example : Paper size : 20,5cm (W) x 14cm(H) | The table : 6,2cm(W) x 3cm(H). Don't forget to measure the margin too, for precise result. and save it with name (for example : card.docx)

- Next open new window of Ms.Word, then create table for the name and place of people that you want to invite. For ex : (pic below) and save it to : list.docx

- Then, back again to card.docx, go into Mailings -> Select Recipients -> Use Existing List . Then look for list.docx file.

- After that create just like the example above,
the step is : look into Insert Merge Field, it should have Name,In,Place list. So just click on it and make it like example above.
to create <<Next Record>> : Go into Rules-><<next record>>
The function is to call the next record of the table that we have created in list.docx.

- After this click Preview Result. Don't forget to set the number from 1. The above example is 18. This is the number of record that we want to start from. The result will be like this :

Then finish!! Just print it into your label invitation name paper. So easy right??
